ProductSights Browser Extension

Capture feedback from any webpage — highlight text, add context, and send it directly to your ProductSights pipeline.

Text selection

Highlight any text on a page to see a capture button. Add notes and submit without leaving the page.

Popup form

Click the extension icon for a quick-capture form. Page URL and title are automatically included.

Side panel

Use the side panel for a larger capture interface when you need more space.

Installation

  1. Download the extension (ZIP file)
  2. Open Chrome and go to chrome://extensions
  3. Enable Developer mode (toggle in the top-right)
  4. Click Load unpacked and select the extracted extension folder
  5. Configure your API key in the extension options (right-click icon → Options)

Find your API key in Settings → API Keys in your ProductSights dashboard. API key owners must select their role/department during onboarding first.
