Feedback Portal
Create branded public pages where users can submit product feedback.
Feedback portals are branded, public-facing pages where your users can submit product feedback directly to ProductSights. Each organization can enable a portal with a unique URL, custom branding, and configurable fields.
How it works
- Enable the feedback portal in Settings → Feedback Portal
- Customize the portal heading, description, and brand color
- Share the portal URL with your users
- Submissions flow through the AI triage pipeline automatically
Portal URL
Each portal is available at:
https://productsights.io/feedback/<your-org-slug>
You can also create short links for easier sharing:
https://productsights.io/f/<code>
Short links are generated automatically when you enable the portal. Share them in emails, documentation, or support pages.
Customization
From the portal settings page, you can configure:
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Heading | The title shown at the top of the portal |
| Description | Introductory text explaining what feedback you're looking for |
| Thank you message | Custom message shown after a successful submission |
| Collect name | Whether to ask for the submitter's name |
| Collect email | Whether to ask for the submitter's email |
Submission form
The portal presents a clean form where users can:
- Enter their feedback content (required)
- Optionally provide their name and email (if enabled)
- Submit with a single click
All submissions include built-in spam protection via a honeypot field.
What happens after submission
Each portal submission:
- Creates a new insight with source type Portal
- Runs through the full AI triage pipeline — categorization, sentiment analysis, priority scoring
- Appears in your insights list alongside feedback from all other sources
- Links to a contact record if the submitter provided their email
SEO and discoverability
Enabled portals are automatically included in your sitemap, making them discoverable by search engines. This can help surface your feedback channel to users searching for ways to share input.
Use cases
